Matt Levin joined Psilos in January 2017 as a Managing Partner, bringing over 20 years of healthcare, business services and corporate development experience to the firm. Matt focuses on investment opportunities in digital health and IT-enabled healthcare services. Prior to Psilos, Matt was Executive Vice President and Head of Global Strategy for Aon plc. His responsibilities included developing Aon’s overall global strategy, with a particular emphasis on accelerating its growth agenda and initiatives. Prior to Aon, he served as Senior Vice President of Corporate Development and Strategy for Hewitt Associates, where he was a core member of the team that led the merger between Aon Consulting and Hewitt Associates in October 2010. Matt led Hewitt’s corporate development program, with an emphasis on mergers, acquisitions, and partnership opportunities, as well as strategic product and market initiatives for all of Hewitt’s business segments.
Prior to Hewitt, Matt was Senior Vice President of Corporate Development and Strategic Planning for IHS Inc., a leading global provider of critical technical information and related decision support tools and services. As part of his role, Matt led IHS’ acquisition program and global strategy function and played a central role in IHS’ successful IPO in 2005. Matt began his career in the First Scholar Program at First Chicago NBD, now JP Morgan Chase.
Matt holds a master’s degree in business administration from the University of Chicago and a bachelor’s degree from Northwestern University. He serves as a visiting lecturer at both universities in the departments of History and Business Institutions. Matt was named to Crain’s Chicago Business 2011 40 Under 40 and the World Economic Forum’s 2013 Young Global Leaders program.
